Firstly, he gave his comments on our proposed project outline. He mentioned that it was too vague, mainly our objectives. Our concept was also not mentioned in our objectives too. And since we have come up with the 3 ground-breaking green concepts for our project, we should include them in our objectives so that it sets the right directions for our FYP project.
Secondly, he mentioned that we should include a time-line in our project outline. This would enable us to plan our work well and guide us along the days so that we would be on schedule and assign the appropriate tasks for the different days. He also wanted us to include when we would like to have meetings with him around so that he could assist us.
We began to brainstorm more about our project. Our objective was to find out about the perceptions of event organisers and delegates, and therefore, we thought that the best way was to interview them and to conduct mass surveys. However, we lack the contacts to reach out to our target group and the whole experience of getting the surveys and interviews done. Therefore, we discussed and came out with the following ideas:
- Going down to the STB Tourism Court for Enquiry
- Searching for events via the STB calendar from the STB website
- local pro-green events activists websites
- Going to events itself
After this, we decided that we needed to come up with a survey for both delegates and event organisers. We wanted to know about the perceptions of these delegates towards our 3 groundbreaking Green concepts and their receptivity towards them. As for the event organisers, we wanted them to be informed of such concepts and how they could implement these concepts into their events, and whether these concepts are feasible to their benefits.
Our next task would be to visit the National Library so that we could research more into green concepts within Asia and collect more related information. Byebye.
